According to Law.com, there is an “arms race to secure top talent sooner” happening in law schools. This level of competition is unprecedented. Top law firms are increasingly extending job offers to 1L students as early as the first semester of law school. What this means for law students is they have a shorter amount of time to distinguish themselves from their peers.

While law students used to have the benefit of two or three semesters under their belt to fine-tune their study habits, pursue extracurriculars, and get a feel for law school, time is no longer on their side.

What’s Your Availability Like?

This Fall 2026, Lex Sans Latin is offering an average of 50 tutoring slots per week across weekdays and weekend mornings, giving students the flexibility they need to plan their week.

Our availability is pretty great, but the slots can fill up quickly, so we recommend prospective students reach out to us as soon as they can.

What Does a Tutoring Package Include?

ALL tutoring packages include:

  • One-on-one virtual tutoring sessions with your battle-hardened Tutor. During each session, we will review substantive topics as dictated by the student. Whether you are looking for a full-course overview or selected precise topic reviews, you are guaranteed to leave every session with practical tips and actionable steps to improve your test performance.
  • IRAC structure and exam technique. Let’s demystify IRAC and make a gameplan for exam day.
  • Real-time feedback. Sometimes, you don’t know what you don’t know. Lex Sans Latin doesn’t hide the ball. You’ll understand where your gaps are, and we will work to fill them.
  • Practice problems. Every Lex Sans Latin student will gain tactile experience with practice answering hypothetical questions, both multiple choice and IRAC format.
  • Study tips. There’s a lot to remember. Lex Sans Latin incorporates mnemonics and memory tricks to ensure you are equipped to craft robust Rule statements on the fly.
  • Visual presentations and multimedia integration. Socratic method may have its place, but being lectured at isn’t always the most engaging way to learn. We incorporate straightforward slide decks, videos, and images to help you learn.
  • Discussion. The practice of law is social. The study of law should be the same. You will be amazed how much you can learn through conversation outside of a lecture hall.

What DON’T You Do?

A few things:

  • Academic Dishonesty. Your sterling reputation is valuable, and we won’t compromise it. Honesty is integral in the legal profession. We want all of our students to be able to use our service with confidence, and without fear of academic integrity concerns arising. So, we do not assist students with papers or take-home examinations. Accordingly, we do not offer tutoring in Legal Research and Writing/Lawyering courses. We are more than happy to review graded assignments with students so we can devise a plan to improve.
  • Materials. There are some good supplements out there. That’s not our lane. Rather than offering students a bank of outlines, notes, and slides, we provide high-quality, live instruction. We do provide students with practice problems to take home throughout the semester, and we review students’ responses in subsequent sessions.
  • Legal Advice. We don’t provide legal advice. Any tutoring or instructional services offered are educational in nature and are not a substitute for legal advice or legal representation.

How Do I Get Started?

We keep things simple. Three steps only.

Step 1: Book a free consultation with us. We’ll discuss your goals, pain points, and learning preferences. We’ll also look at your schedule and explore how frequently we should meet.
Step 2: If you decide we’re a good fit, you’ll sign our Tutoring Services Agreement and become a Lex Sans Latin student!
Step 3: Once you’re all signed up, you’ll have immediate access to our booking calendar, and you can begin booking sessions with us!
