Why Should You Consider a Law School Tutor?

According to Law.com, there is an “arms race to secure top talent sooner” happening in law schools. This level of competition is unprecedented. Top law firms are increasingly extending job offers to 1L students as early as the first semester of law school. What this means for law students is they have a shorter amount of time to distinguish themselves from their peers.

While law students used to have the benefit of two or three semesters under their belt to fine-tune their study habits, pursue extracurriculars, and get a feel for law school, time is no longer on their side.

Because prospective employers are jockeying for top talent sooner, high performance in the classroom is critical, now more than ever. This is especially true considering, according to Reuters, “the current pool of applicants to American Bar Association-accredited law schools [in 2025] is 33% larger than it was this time last year,” and law schools are expanding class sizes (American Bar Association).

All of this means law students have a steeper hill to climb when it comes to rising above the competition. Those who are determined to be in the running for top jobs have more incentive than ever to outperform their peers academically in order to have the best shot at marketing themselves to prospective employers.

Learning the ropes of outlining, IRAC structure, exam technique, and substantive law is challenging enough without the increased pressure of post-first semester recruiting.

  • IRAC structure and exam technique. Let’s demystify IRAC and make a gameplan for exam day.

  • Practice problems. Every Lex Sans Latin student will gain tactile experience with practice answering hypothetical questions, both multiple choice and IRAC format.
  • Study tips. There’s a lot to remember. Lex Sans Latin incorporates mnemonics and memory tricks to ensure you are equipped to craft robust Rule statements on the fly.

We offer:

  • single sessions for quick help
  • discounted semester packages for:
    • 6 sessions (targeted review)
    • 16 sessions (meeting once a week); and
    • 32 sessions (meeting twice a week).
